<p><strong>Details!  Requirements and Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>• 8-10 years of industry experience and preferred agency creative direction experience.<br />
• Media experience: a strong background interactive/digital is required (online and/or mobile display, online promotions, websites, email marketing, microsites/landing pages, &amp; more), print, direct mail, and multi-media campaigns.<br />
• Leadership: demonstrated ability to develop trust and rapport with team members, work in a matrixed team environment well, and collaborate with all levels of our organization and client organizations to deliver results.  Positive person that leads by example in collaboration, appreciation of other staff, can build consensus through passionate and differing opinions.  Honest, kind and gifted with giving feedback to junior team members.  Currently leads a team of 6 but influences all areas of our company.<br />
• Communication: poised, together and an asset in presentations to CMO, CIO, and other senior executives.  Excellent listening skills that produce masterful positioning.  Anticipates questions and challenges<br />
• Organization: Billing/revenue/numbers tolerant &#8211; project budget creation and management.  Can navigate complex client structure/process in a way that builds client relationships.  Ability to consistently deliver quality on time.   Positively navigates obstacles.<br />
• Thinking: creative and strategic problem solver!  Contagious idea generator.  Able to develop and clearly share compelling &amp; unifying concepts to the client and Empower teams.  Nimble thinker.  Thirst for learning and communicating digital technology opportunities<br />

• Bachelors Degree, in anything.<br />
• Preferred: Creative Director leading teams designing for digital. That means experience recruiting, developing and managing a full-service Creative team of Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters and Production Managers.  Experience overseeing Web Designers and Art Directors or have personal facility with commonly used software packages with Adobe Creative Suite 5.  Past success working in diverse digital assignments utilizing various interactive technologies, platforms and media.  Knowledgeable working with Microsoft Office Suite.</p>

<p>INTERN/CO-OP<br />
Empower MediaMarketing may be looking for interns who are interested in learning about the world of media.</p>
<p>• You should be computer literate, able to work independently as well as in a group setting, be able to take direction, not afraid to ask questions, positive attitude, dependable, reliable and a hard worker.<br />
• Internships are usually 15-25 hours or more per week, Mon-Fri (flexible hours, worked around your school schedule). Co-ops are 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.<br />
• Candidates should be juniors or seniors (or graduate students). You <strong>MUST</strong> to be currently enrolled in a college/university. If you have already graduated, you are not eligible for an internship.<br />

o Collaborating with Empower’s traditional media teams to integrate marketing communication across all media.<br />
o Continuously measuring and refining digital strategies to deliver results that go way beyond our clients’ expectations</p>
<p><strong>We have an immediate opening for <em>Digital Strategy Director</em></strong> (or “Digital/Interactive Director” at other agencies)</p>
<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong> Our Digital Strategy Director ensures leading edge strategic thinking is applied to clients’ media/marketing plans and helps lead the Strategy Team to create a truly integrated marketing strategy. She/he collaborates and partners with other Empower divisions and teams to develop innovative communication strategies in order to meet clients’ marketing goals. The Digital Strategy Director will leverage their deep understanding on how to execute web promotions, email programs, website development and Digital creative to manage Digital marketing projects and mentor staff.</p>
<p><strong>The daily life of Empower’s Digital Strategy Director involves:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Managing and leading teams to bring creative and strategic thinking to every plan/project.</li>
<li>Coaching, developing team member’s mastery of Digital Marketing principals and competencies in order for them to apply key media and marketing tools, ideas and develop analyses for clients in the future.</li>
<li>Leading the digital integration and innovation CHARGE across functions and collaborates with other divisional Empower experts to help move our clients to innovation.</li>
<li>Strategy, Strategy, Strategy: develops valued partner relationship with client’s senior level counterpart; does Client Discovery Process (gathering all marketing information and historical learning); understands the client’s consumer/customer through Empower’s Target Insight Engineering’s and Impact Moments Planning processes; understands the client’s marketing objectives and develops (and measures) Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Objective (ROO) and/or other measurement metrics; develops effective digital media strategy; execute digital marketing programs that include online promotions, email management, digital creative and website development; jointly handles unfamiliar problems, situation, or issues; presents annual client P&amp;L, compensation agreements, and oversees account profitability.</li>
<li>Develops Empower point-of-view on new media/marketing tools, ideas and concepts for client.</li>
<li>Accountable for the development and execution of Client Satisfaction (Partnership Review) action plans for Digital Marketing initiatives and leads Account Review process.</li>
<li>Responsible for professional and personal development via training and attending industry conferences as a representative of Empower.</li>
<li>Responsible for writing and/or working with team to write Digital Client Briefs (update quarterly).</li>
<li>Assists the New Business Development Division (Growth Team @ Empower) by generating leads, assisting and/or attending pitches, developing strategic media recommendations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:</p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree.</p>
<p>Minimum 5 years professional experience developing digital marketing strategy, project managing digital programs and online advertising campaigns. With demonstrated experience in:</p>
<ul>
<li>Project managing all components of digital marketing and media executions such as project kick-off, timelines and budgets, contracts, flowcharts, recommendations, presentations, and analysis.</li>
<li>Effective use of research tools define target audiences and optimize marketing and media plans.</li>
<li>Demonstrated development and negotiation skills in online advertising, co-marketing/partnership programs and integrated campaigns.</li>
<li>Researching, identifying and compiling competitive insights to guide and optimize digital marketing efforts.</li>
<li>Accurately defining, scoping, pricing and managing digital programs and campaigns.</li>
<li>Delivering projects on-time and on-budget.</li>
<li>Creative ability and passionate interest in creating powerful digital marketing plans that meet client objectives, by incorporating digital and emerging media and in collaboration with clients and internal teams</li>
<li>Strong, effective business professional communication and client presentation skills; preferred previous experience in presenting to clients from an agency perspective.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of traditional marketing principles and how they apply to the digital medium.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of digital marketing and success factors.</li>
<li>Preferred 5 or more years experience in client-centered, agency environment (i.e. fast-paced, client or brand-centric professional experiences).</li>

<p>“I don’t know how many people can say that they’ve had the chance to sit and carry on a conversation with the CEO and President of their agencies, but I did on a number of occasions.  Not only was I taken aback by their complete interest in me being an intern and my life but also their passion for the business. <br />
The best parts about working here were, the free food that was almost always somewhere in the building, the volleyball games we had on Tuesdays, the free movie, baseball and concert tickets that are available almost daily, and the candy dishes that have probably caused me to have 5 more cavities. <br />
Empower is by far one of the best places to work and Cincinnati is so much more fun than I could have imagined!”<br />
