Media Planning Strategist
Our successful Media Planning Strategist is accountable for the strategic development of client media plans based on knowledge of client business goals and objectives.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree.
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of media forms; demonstrated minimum of 10 years of agency/client experience in media required.
• Strong understanding of integrated advertising, experience across print, OOH, broadcast, print, interactive, etc. Expertise in multiple industry catagories, such as CPG, Retail, Food, Travel, etc.
• Demonstrated media strategic planning: understanding of branding; consumer decision making process; develop enhanced customer contact strategies, negotiate and set goals to measure impact of tactical activities, adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market conditions, conduct analysis to identify trends, markets, product offerings and tactics that will increase effectiveness and client revenue.
• In-depth knowledge of media marketing analysis and reporting programs, such as MRI, Simmons and Scarborough, MediaBank, etc.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to change direction and adapt to client’s changing needs.
• Demonstrated superior listening, creative problem resolution skills. Well-developed communication, relationship-building, & strategic networking skills.
• Terrific presentation and persuasive writing skills; passion for media.
• Curious, confident and tenacious in learning our business.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities well, while paying strong attention to detail and in a fast paced environment.
