POSITIONS FILLED – 2010 Fall Internships/Co-ops

Thank you for your interest in Empower.  Empower has filled our 2010 Fall internship/co-op positions. 

INTERN/CO-OP
Empower MediaMarketing may be looking for interns who are interested in learning about the world of media.

• You should be computer literate, able to work independently as well as in a group setting, be able to take direction, not afraid to ask questions, positive attitude, dependable, reliable and a hard worker.
• Internships are usually 15-25 hours or more per week, Mon-Fri (flexible hours, worked around your school schedule). Co-ops are 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
• Candidates should be juniors or seniors (or graduate students). You MUST to be currently enrolled in a college/university. If you have already graduated, you are not eligible for an internship.
• Internships/Co-ops are paid
• We’re located at 1111 St. Gregory Street, Cinti, OH  45202 (Mt. Adams), free parking
• We potentially have opportunities in several areas of the company:
     * Local Media Buying Team – LMA
     * National Buying Team – NMT
     * Client Strategy
     * Media Strategy
     * Research Department – this internship is looking for specific qualifications & requirements

5. Do you have any specific areas of the company you are interested in interning? Please list all that apply.
6. Do you have any research experience?  If so, be as specific and detailed as possible.
7. Do you have any digital experience? If so, what programs and other information have you used? Are you familiar with website design, flash design, animation, actionscript, etc? Be as specific and detailed as possible.
8. Do you have any word of mouth/social media experience?  If so, please explain and be as specific and detailed as possible.
9. When would you be available to internship/what would your timing be (start date/end date – not necessarily days of week at this point)?
10. How many hours are you looking for each week?
11. When would you be available to interview and what number(s) can you be reached at? If out of state, will you be in Cincinnati in March/April to interview?
12.  If you are out of the area, would you have your own housing while doing the internship in Cincinnati?  We do not provide housing for internships.
13. When do you graduate?
